Research

One of the main missions of the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies is to analyse the national and international legal, social and political landscape, with particular focus on the legal and political context of Latin American countries.
Via the Sub-Directorate General for Studies and Research, the CEPC fosters research and reflection on the nature and functioning of political systems through a legal and political science approach.
These views translate into a number of activities, including scientific meetings, focusing on two main pillars: “El tiempo de la Política” (The time for politics) y Mirando hacia América Latina (A look at Latin America); the García Pelayo Research Programme, the Researchers' Seminar and the various Research Prizes awarded either individually or in partnership with other institutions.
