Resumen
El 4 de julio de 2014 el Gobierno designó a D. Antonio Narváez Rodríguez como magistrado del Tribunal Constitucional. El nombramiento vino a cubrir la vacante dejada un mes antes, tras haber sido aceptada la renuncia del magistrado D. Enrique López. Dado que el acontecimiento estuvo rodeado de algunas novedades y otras inusitadas incidencias que han venido a dar un desarrollo en la materia, en este trabajo se ofrecerá una crónica y algunas observaciones de dicho procedimiento selectivo, al hilo de las designaciones de magistrados realizadas por el Gobierno.

Abstract
On 4 july 2014 the Government appointed Antonio Narváez Rodríguez as Judge of the Constitutional Court. The appointment came to fill the vacancy left a month earlier, after having accepted the renounce of Judge Enrique López. The event was characterized by some interesting novelties and other unusual incidents, wich have come to give new developments in the topic. For these reasons in this paper will be presented a chronic and some observations of the selection procedure.
